Sign ups for the 2016 holiday season have been completed.
Watch for information for 2017 during October.
1. Household must be in Anderson County. Must bring proof of residence. (Utility Bill, current housing agreements, DHS Food Stamp notification. Etc)
2. Must have ID for each household member. (Social Security Card, School Record, State issued ID.)
3. Proof of Income (pay stubs, DHS award letter, Child Support Award letter, Families First notice, etc.)
The DHS award letter is an excellent from of ID and income verification. Social Security Cards are only used for ID, numbers are not kept. All information must be current, within last 12 months.
Information may be verified by Holiday Bureau.
Information is shared with other agencies and churches. You can only sign up with one organization for Holiday assistance.
